What You Are Agreeing To

I understand this is beta software — features may change or break, and data could be lost
I'll provide honest feedback through the in-app feedback button
I won't use this for critical navigation or safety decisions
I accept that GPS tracks, speed data, technical info, and feedback are collected to improve the app

Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — Please read this carefully

SailLab is a performance analysis tool for reviewing your sailing sessions after the fact. It is not a navigation system, safety device, substitute for proper sailing knowledge, or suitable for real-time decision making.

You are solely responsible for your safety while sailing, following maritime safety protocols, using proper navigation equipment, and making all sailing decisions.

The app's data may be inaccurate or incomplete. Never rely on it for safety-critical decisions.

Your Data and Privacy

What's Collected

Sailing data (GPS tracks), technical data (crash reports, device info, app usage), and your feedback and bug reports.

How It's Used

To fix bugs, improve the app, develop new features, and research sailing performance (anonymized only).

Your Rights

You own your sailing data. You can delete your account and data anytime, export your data, and contact feedback@saillab.app for data requests.

Liability

SailLab Analytics ApS is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damage while sailing, nor for data loss during beta testing. Use the app at your own risk. Maximum liability is limited to $100 USD.

This is free beta software — there are no warranties of any kind.

Duration and Termination

Beta lasts until public release or end of program
You can quit anytime by deleting the app or your account
We can end the program anytime, for any reason
When beta ends, you'll be offered to migrate to the production version

Legal Details

Jurisdiction: Denmark (subject to EU regulations)

Intellectual Property: The app and all its features remain the property of SailLab Analytics ApS. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the app without compensation.

No Warranty: The app is provided “AS IS” with no warranties of any kind.
